The loss of personal freedoms hidden in the Patriot Act. One American artist speaks. Turn up your audio sound.
"TIRED OF NO"
"TIRED OF NO"
_Epilogue - Laid Bare with No Power to say "No."
The news of war, again, brings a deep feeling of disgust and revolt to innocents Americans and all the others—who are ravaged by war.
Artists become rattled psychologically and embarrassed by our government’s passion for
an-eye-for-an-eye.
Maybe the old adage is true: For every bad thing - there is a good thing?
Might my works bring positive balance to the scale of justice for individual Americans ... and to women, children, and men ... all over the world over.
I Saw Four Figures Dressed in Gold gathers part and pieces of giant portraits of four of friends caught in the knowledge that America was on another war-path with an imperialistic goal of forcing democracy with more death and ugliness after 9.11. Such a giant leap by a president with such short legs!
And what about the lost power to provide our eldest population with medicines?
And what about the youth of America who desperately need new schools?
And what about the infrastructure of the entire country?
And a woman's right to choose?
And limiting automatic weapons sold without proper reason?
And the continued American business of war ... and drones that bomb women and children ... 174 so far?
